"The 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis En la Rue de Vergy includes 50% whole bunches this year. This cuvée lacked the precision I found in Lignier-Michelot's other wines, a bit of warmth detracting from its clarity. The palate is medium-bodied with black cherry and blueberry fruit. There's fine structure, though I seek a little more roundness and fluidity on the finish. It's just a tad abrupt." -Vinous
