Mon Coeur blends Syrah and Grenache from four distinct terroirs in and around Châteauneuf-du-Pape—crushed plum, black cherry, singed bay leaf, pepper, and anise create an approachable, character-driven Côtes du Rhône.

More about J-L Chave Selections

Jean-Louis Chave took over the family domaine in 1993 and started his Sélection label in 1995 with a Saint-Joseph, Offerus, from trusted growers' fruit. As the family vineyards he replanted came on stream, more and more of the fruit became his own, so 'négociant' hardly fits anymore. Today the range runs from Côtes du Rhône Mon Coeur through Crozes-Hermitage Silène and Saint-Joseph to Hermitage Farconnet. Impeccably made, little new oak, and a more accessible doorway into Chave's world.
