"The 2018 Blanc de Blancs Charles Heintz Vineyard is a wine of crystalline precision and nuance, showing notes of crushed rocks, white flowers, mint and jasmine. The 2018 is an understated, quite wine built more on persistence than volume. There is so much character and vibrancy here. Disgorged: November, 2022. Dosage is 2 grams per liter." -Antonio Galloni

"The 2018 Blanc de Blancs Heintz Vineyard opens with tones of crème fraîche and matchstick and offers undertones of ripe citrus, pastry and toast. The medium-bodied palate features concentrated citrus fruit and generous pâtisserie character. It has a luxurious, creamy texture, energetic acidity and a long, powerfully flavored finish. It offers some of the pleasures of Champagne without shirking its extroverted California fruit." -Erin Brooks

"Whole-cluster pressed, with each press run of approximately 122 gallons going into two neutral barrels, where they ferment with ambient yeasts. Malolactic conversion is blocked. The wines age in barrel sur lie for 6–8 months before being blended and then bottled for tirage, where they spend between 40 and 48 months on the lees. Dosage 2 g/l. Fine bubbles. Smells of wet chalkboard, kelp and greengage plum. In the mouth, wonderfully salty green apple and greengage plum mix with white flowers. Velvety mousse, with great acidity and chalky minerality. Fantastic balance."
