95% Mencia and 5% Garnacha Tintorera from several different vineyard sites on sandy-loamy-granitic soils; each parcel is fermented separately, with 85% of the blend going into stainless steel and 15% into neutral French oak barrels. The final product is light and zippy, with delicate floral aromas (violets, hibiscus), a bevy of red and black fruits, and a gentle hit of spice on the finish. Drink with grilled sausages, roasted peppers, or all on its own.
