Bodega Cat Rye is made from a classic 95% rye / 5% malted barley mash bill, the same high-rye formula that defines many of the most beloved American ryes. Distilled in Indiana and aged in new charred oak, it’s bottled at 100 proof, giving it both the strength and structure to anchor serious whiskey cocktails like a Manhattan, Sazerac, or Old Pal.
Flavor-wise, it offers a burst of black pepper, clove, orange peel, rye bread, and a touch of mint, followed by vanilla, toasted oak, and a dry, spicy finish. It’s robust without being harsh—clearly built for mixing but totally sippable on its own.
