Claire Hill sources Syrah from the Grist Vineyard, perched at 1,200 feet in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley. The site’s elevation and gravelly soils yield a fresh, spicy expression. Claire farms organically and works with minimal intervention in the cellar.

2022 was a low-yield, high-intensity vintage. The wine was fermented with partial whole clusters and aged in neutral oak, highlighting purity and savory character. A lean, focused take on California Syrah.
