"Bright ruby-red. Knockout nose combines red- and blackcurrant, blueberry, graphite minerality and licorice lifted by a violet topnote. Very dry, penetrating and sharply delineated but utterly fine-grained too, with its savory dark berry flavors framed and energized by violet and minerals. Boasts rare nobility of texture and a light touch to its urgent fruit. The wine's fine, dusty tannins expand to saturate the mouth on the vibrant, rising, extremely long back end.
