Le Limozin is a prized lieu-dit in southern Meursault near the border with Puligny, and the wine reflects that transitional character—among the highest-regarded village Meursaults, with blind tastings revealing Premier Cru quality. The 2023 is slightly fleshier than its predecessor but maintains the rhythm and energy that separate great wine from merely expensive wine. Biodynamic farming, minimal intervention, and 15-18 months of oak aging allow the terroir's mineral character to dominate. This is the village Meursault that competes with wines above its class.
