Domaine de Cassiopée’s “Les Plantes” 2023 is everything we love about new-generation Burgundy: vibrant fruit, organic farming, and total honesty in the glass. Sourced from a small parcel in Maranges—a village known for approachable, expressive reds—this wine is light on its feet but deep in character.
The 2023 vintage brings bright, high-toned fruit: wild strawberries, sour cherry, and a touch of rose petal, with fine tannins and a gentle herbal edge. There’s a little earth, a little spice, and a lot of lift, making it perfect for drinking young and slightly chilled.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged in older barrels, Les Plantes is made with a light hand and a clear focus on purity. It’s easy to enjoy, but not simple—just the kind of soulful, low-intervention Burgundy you want to pour on a weeknight and talk about on the second glass.
