Le Carquelin comes from granite rose and sand soils with direct south-facing exposure in Moulin-à-Vent's prime terroir. The 2015 vintage benefited from exceptional summer heat, producing concentrated fruit with silky tannins and aromatic richness. Crunchy red and black fruits with fresh florals and a balanced finish. From one of Beaujolais's most historic estates, founded in 1850 and now in its seventh generation.
