Fürst's 2023 Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) Tradition represents the estate's foundation red wine expression—a wine showcasing their philosophy and winemaking approach across broader vineyard sources. The Tradition designation (as opposed to single-vineyard or special selections) allows access to the estate's winemaking techniques at an approachable level. The natural fermentation, 12-20 months in Burgundian oak, and no-filtration approach create wines of genuine character. At two years old, this vintage shows the earthiness and savory complexity that characterizes Franken Spätburgunder—a style distinct from the fruit-forward character of Burgundy or warmer German regions. These wines are expected to arrive February 26.
