Giacomo Fenocchio’s Castellero Barolo comes from a lesser-known but highly regarded MGA near Barolo village. The vineyard’s calcareous soils and southwest exposure yield structured, ageworthy Nebbiolo with refined aromatics. Fenocchio farms organically and follows traditional methods.

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel with long maceration, followed by aging in large Slavonian oak casks. Castellero sits just below Cannubi and reflects the house’s classic, terroir-focused style with clarity and depth.
