First, neutral spirits are infused with ripe bananas, then blended with spirit distilled from banana. Finally, a splash of aged cognac and a judicious amount of sugar is added for a liqueur that tastes straight up like Bananas Foster. Get any other banana liqueur you've had out of your mind, because this is the essence of a ripe banana, or freshly baked banana bread, and not at all cloying or artificial.
