Gosset's flagship non-vintage Champagne spends four to five years aging in dark cellars, far longer than most houses. This extended maturation creates the signature creamy texture and subtle autolysis that defines the Grande Réserve style.

The blend relies primarily on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a touch of Pinot Meunier. Gosset's patient approach yields mellow red apple aromatics and precise flavors that showcase why this cuvée anchors their range.

Antonio Galloni

"The NV Grande Réserve is a gorgeous entry-level wine from Gosset. Crisp, dry and resonant, the Grande Réserve offers lovely textural depth to play off the more mineral-driven notes that are so typical of the Gosset house style. All the elements come together nicely in this effortless, gracious mid-weight Champagne. This is very nicely done. Disgorged on April 26, 2017. Dosage is 8 grams per liter." —Antonio Galloni

Robert Parker

"Aromas of crips orchard fruit, pear and apricot, mingled with hints of fresh bread and pastry, introduce the latest release of Gosset's NV Brut Grande Réserve, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy but incisive wine that's deceptively generous but also structured to reward some bottle age." —William Kelley

Decanter

"The nose opens with the fresh ripeness of yellow apple and highlights of Granny Smith. It has beautifully subtle autolysis on the palate, deepening into notes of creamy apple crumble, Golden Delicious and Mirabelle plum, while remaining utterly strait-laced. Elegance, length and absolute freshness are inherent and quietly convincing."

Wine Spectator

92 points

"An elegant style, showing pinpoint balance between a sense of finesse and the vibrant energy imparted by the chiseled acidity and fine, focused perlage. It's a fine frame for a well-meshed range of white cherry, peach skin, spun honey and orange liqueur notes, with rich hints of pastry and smoked almond playing on the chalky finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier."

Wine Enthusiast

"Gosset’s nonvintage cuvée is a fine example of the richness of this producer’s Champagnes. It is full, laden with Pinot texture and a touch of toast from bottle aging. Drink now."
