"The 2024 Gruner Veltliner Gaisberg grows on a mix of loess and mica schist and shows an edge of firm peach in this harvest. Dark moss stays in the background but beckons with its savor. The palate flows and adds pear and orange peel alongside a little pithiness. This is a wine that drives downward and makes you pay attention to the deep flavor at the core. There is something clear-cut and bright about this, something absolute and uncompromising."
