"The 2022 Gelber Traminer Loibner Smaragd is mostly from valley vineyards, with tiny portions of Kellerberg and Loibenberg. Varietal notions on the nose are restrained, showing subtle rose petal with just a touch of grapefruit spice, notes that carry all the way through. The palate has sumptuous, almost oily, concentration but resonates with a beautiful freshness. Right now, this comes with opulence, but with bottle age it will be a dream. More Gelber than Traminer?

Light yellow; aromatic mix on the nose that’s spicy and flowery; the virtually dry palate comes off a little lighter in comparison but still offers liquid flowers, subtle yellow citrus, and no phenolic bitterness.
