Kumusha is the project of Tinashe Nyamudoka, the Zimbabwe-born former head sommelier at Cape Town's Test Kitchen who decided to start making the wines he loved to pour. "Kumusha" means home in Shona. This Western Cape Cabernet Sauvignon is the more structured offering in the range, made with the same natural-leaning, minimal-intervention approach as the rest. It's a fresh, honest take on Cabernet, more about energy and drinkability than oak and weight. A great-value bottle with real personality and a story you'll want to tell. Drinking well now.
