Made from nearly extinct grape varieties—Castet and Mancin, grapes modern winemaking had abandoned. Antonin Jamois creates this wine of memory in Entre-Deux-Mers after an unconventional path through organic shrimp farming in Madagascar and freediving instruction. "L'Île Rouge" (The Red Island) honors his Madagascar origins. This is genuine heritage viticulture, rescuing pre-industrial grape diversity through organic, biodynamic, and natural winemaking. A rare opportunity to taste living history.

More about L'ile Rouge

Antonin Jamois named his Bordeaux property after Madagascar, where it all began. He's only got 2.5 hectares, but he's committed to living wines, biodynamic farming since 2016, and reviving forgotten grapes like Castets. This is terroir as rebellion: small, organic, utterly uncompromising.
