If you find a remarkable similarity in the style and structure of Laurent Tribut's wines with those of Vincent Dauvissat, it is not a coincidence. The link is Vincent's sister, Marie-Clotilde who happens to be married to Laurent. Together they make very small amounts of wines from some distinct terroirs.The cellar and the vineyards are different, but the approach is very much the same as you find up the street at the Dauvissats. If it isn't broken, why fix it! These days Laurent and Marie-Clotilde's daughter Solange has begun taking over much of the wine making, and she is continuing the tradition of excellence that her family is now famous for.
