"The NV A. Veracuz, a wine without DO Jerez, which therefore cannot be called Amontillado, so they had to resort to putting "A." on the label. This is from the same winery from the Pago Veracruz in Trebujena, but each wine was in the hands of a different member of the family (in the past, they released old Olorosos and a PX). This is a one-off, a very old Amontillado, with the textbook character of very old wine, a green edge and a concentrated nose with notes of low tide and rusty nail, iodine and tar. It has a super intense palate, sharp as a knife, saline and the Trebujena character with some rusticity, with concentration from the warmer climate, with less influence from the ocean. It's a wine that falls back on the throat with a rugged texture, and it has a very long finish. They estimate this might be 60 years old. Some 600 half bottles were filled in June 2025. This should be indestructible...97pts" — Luis Gutiérrez, The Wine Advocate

"Continuing with the Trebujena saga from the Veracruz vineyard, we have been able to complete another piece of the family puzzle, acquiring the last remaining wines from one of the branches of the original owning family.

The Amontillado Veracruz is a very old Amontillado, approximately 40 years old, which has not been re-ripened for the last 12 years. The wine was significantly diminished, and we were only able to bottle 600 half-bottles to share with discerning wine lovers.

The wine is a burst of saltiness and texture, with a very appealing rustic touch typical of Trebujena." - Ramiro Ibáñez
