Nathan Kendall is one of New York's most skillful winemakers and this is one of his best QPR bottlings, period. The fruit for this cuvée is sourced from three vineyards on Seneca Lake with vine ages ranging 20-40 years. It's fermented with native yeast in a combination of neutral French oak and stainless steel, then aged on the gross lees until bottling the following summer. The oak maturation lends breadth and open, generous fruit on the palate while the stainless steel accentuates the bracing acidity we love so much about this grape.
