The northern regions of Italy have so much to offer! In addition to Piedmont's classic Barolo and Barbaresco, there are lesser-known regions and grapes that are both delightful and unique. In this seminar, we'll explore Piedmont and Valtellina through the lens of three producers: Cieck, Domenico Clerico, and Dirupi. We'll taste Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo as well as more under-the-radar Erbaluce, the Sforzato di Valtellina style, and more.

Guiding us through this fascinating lineup will be Crystal Whitcroft, cofounder of D&P Selezioni. Crystal Whitcroft has spent nearly two decades immersed in the world of wine and hospitality, working across luxury hotels, fine dining, and wine merchants throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. As Co-Founder of D&P Selezioni, she works closely with some of Italy’s most dedicated artisanal producers, helping to share the skill, heritage, and individuality behind their wines. With certifications from the Wine Scholar Guild, WSET, and the Court of Master Sommeliers, Crystal brings both formal training and a genuine affection for Italy’s regions, grapes, and traditions to every glass she introduces.

The cost of this seminar is $40 and a $20 credit at the store will be extended to each guest for a future purchase. Seating is limited and special pricing on the featured wines will be made available to attendees only. We hope you can join us on the mezzanine at 6pm on Tuesday, October 14 for this special evening.

Second Bite at the Apple: Picq Chablis 2022s

Now, if you're new to these newsletters, you might not know what all the fuss is about.
