What is this wine?
Piero Mancini’s Vermentino di Gallura 2024 is a crisp, aromatic white from Sardinia’s only DOCG appellation, Vermentino di Gallura, in the island’s northeastern corner. Made entirely from Vermentino, the region’s signature grape, this wine reflects Gallura’s distinctive terroir—granite-rich soils, bright Mediterranean sunlight, and cooling sea breezes. Piero Mancini, a pioneering Sardinian producer since the 1980s, is known for clean, expressive wines that capture the island’s coastal character.

Why get this wine?
This Vermentino offers exceptional freshness, minerality, and balance at great value. Piero Mancini consistently produces some of the most reliable expressions of the grape, with purity and a saline edge that set Gallura apart from other Mediterranean whites. The 2024 vintage is lively and precise—ideal for those seeking a refreshing yet characterful alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.

What does this wine taste like?
Zesty lemon, green apple, and white peach are joined by notes of sea spray, thyme, and almond. The palate is medium-bodied and bright, with a crisp, mineral-driven finish that lingers clean and savory.

When should you drink this wine?
Enjoy now through 2027. Perfect with seafood—especially grilled fish, shellfish, or octopus—as well as fresh salads or light pastas. Serve well chilled.

Fermented in stainless steel with selected yeast.
Aging
Aged in stainless steel until January after harvest.
