From a super-steep, east-facing vineyard on dark migmatite-amphibolite and paragneiss soils with 70-year-old vines, Klaus is a powerhouse and considered one of the very best Riesling slopes in the Wachau. Even this young, it's already showing off its earthy, stony minerality with a seamless, cohesive mouthfeel around a core of steely acidity.
