Tellier, Champagne Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Grand Cru Cramant, 2019

$85.99
Use code 10OFF to get 10% off 12+ bottles

Tellier is part of Champagne’s new wave of grower-producers, crafting site-driven, low-dosage wines that let terroir shine. This Blanc de Blancs comes from Cramant, one of the most prized villages in the Côte des Blancs, known for its intensely mineral, structured Chardonnays. The 2019 vintage brings both energy and depth, making this a serious, age-worthy Champagne.

Lemon zest, green apple, and white peach lead, layered with crushed oyster shell, toasted almond, and a hint of brioche from extended lees aging. The palate is laser-focused, with racy acidity and a long, saline-driven finish that lingers with tension and finesse. Perfect as an apéritif or paired with oysters, caviar, or creamy cheeses—this is Grand Cru Champagne at its purest and most refined.

More about Tellier

Young brothers Quentin and Alexandre Tellier took over their family's vineyard in 2016, transforming it from contract grape-growers to terroir-obsessed vignerons. Thirteen parcels across Moussy, Cramant, and the Côte des Blancs, farmed organically, fermented in barrel with wild yeast. Grower Champagne done right.

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
