Tequila Ocho is all about transparency and terroir, bottling each release from a single estate and harvest year—an approach more common in wine than in tequila. Their Reposado is rested just long enough in ex-American oak to soften and round the spirit, while keeping the core of highland agave flavor front and center.
On the nose, you get roasted agave, lime peel, and sweet baking spices, followed by hints of vanilla, white pepper, and toasted oak.
