Antonio Galloni

95 points

"The 2019 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard is an exquisite wine. Kirsch, sweet red cherry, mint and blood orange give the 2019 exotic aromatics to match its mid-weight personality. Pliant and silky, yet quite powerful, the Rinconada packs a serious punch. At the same time, it has a feeling of transparency that is so appealing. This is an absolutely alluring wine from one of the best sites in the Sta. Rita Hills." —Antonio Galloni

Robert Parker

94 points

"Pale ruby-purple, the 2019 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard has slowly emerging scents of dried violet, cranberry and blueberry with nuances of licorice and saline. The palate is intense and powerful, with loads of chalky tannins, seamless freshness, iron-like mineral character and an uplifted finish." —Erin Brooks

More about Tyler Winery

Back in 2005 winemaker Justin Willet tucked away 8 barrels in the back of the winery that he was working. Born in Santa Barbara, Justin has the maritime terroir of Santa Rita Hill and Santa Maria Valley in his veins. It was just a matter of time before he would emerge as a champion of the region and the extraordinary Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays it could produce. Today he is known as one of the driving forces behind the rising fame of Santa Barbara and has influenced the wine world beyond.
