Classic, stony Chablis from a small family domaine in Beine, just west of the town of Chablis. Didier Dauvissat is a distant cousin of the famous Vincent Dauvissat, and the estate (founded in 1986) is now in the hands of son Florent, who trained at Frederic Mugnier in Chambolle and Copain in California. They farm around 10 hectares and keep the winemaking traditional: stainless steel, six to twelve months of aging, nothing to mask the limestone. The result is pure, fresh, and built with real structure for a village Chablis. A reliable, honest expression of the appellation's chalky Kimmeridgian soils.

"The 2023 Chablis Village comes from the lieu-dit of Les Brèches de Fyé. It has a pleasant, green-apple- and pear-scented bouquet with light earthy scents.
