Bordeaux Blanc reigns supreme. Chateau Sainte-Marie is a Dupuch family estate in Entre-Deux-Mers — the broad swath of land between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers that has long been Bordeaux's white-wine heartland — and a longtime benchmark for crisp, mineral, value-priced Bordeaux Blanc. Stephane Dupuch runs the estate, working the classical Entre-Deux-Mers blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle. The Vieilles Vignes bottling draws from the estate's oldest parcels, adding a touch of weight and depth to what is already one of the appellation's most reliable QPR pours. The 2025 is the current release: zippy grapefruit and lemon, white peach, fresh herb, beeswax, a quick chalky-mineral snap, that signature Sauvignon lift on a clean dry finish. Pour cold and pour often.
