The second wine of the esteemed Domaine de Chevalier, L'Esprit de Chevalier is a refined Pessac-Léognan blend crafted from young vines and exceptional parcels. The 2021 combines 63% Cabernet Sauvignon with 30% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, aged 14 months in barrel. A tightly wound bouquet of blackberry and raspberry unfolds with hints of sea spray, delivering a medium-bodied palate infused with graphite and black fruit on a clean, saline finish. This is elegant Bordeaux with structure and focus.
