Federico Curtaz spent roughly fifteen years working alongside Angelo Gaja in Barbaresco before striking out on his own and falling for the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. Gamma is his more accessible Etna Bianco, 100% Carricante sourced around the villages of Milo and Biancavilla on Mount Etna. It rests nine months on its lees in stainless steel, which fills out the texture while keeping that signature volcanic cut intact. A great, food-friendly introduction to Etna's white grape. Serve chilled but not ice-cold.

Federico Curtaz trained in viticulture and oenology before working fifteen years under the legendary Angelo Gaja in Barbaresco. In 2014, he launched his own brand, meticulously sourcing parcels across Sicily and Mount Etna's northern slopes. His Etna Biancos made from Carricante are mineral, precise, and proof that Etna's best wines are just getting started.
