Mark Angeli is a legend of natural Loire wine β€” he calls his place a ferme (a farm), not a domaine, and famously walked away from the Anjou appellation to bottle everything as Vin de France on his own terms. Everything is farmed biodynamically (Demeter-certified). La Rosee is his fresh, juicy rose, made in tiny quantities and built for drinking young and cold. It's the kind of bottle that disappears fast on a warm afternoon. Chill it down and pour generously.

LEARN

Loire Valley Wines

The Loire Valley is France’s greatest source of value for anyone looking for elegant, terroir-driven wines. Our collection celebrates the region’s great diversity, with the mineral-driven whites of Muscadet and Sancerre, the beautiful Chenin Blancs and Cabernet Francs from villages like Vouvray and Chinon, and natural wines from everywhere in the region. Sometimes wonderfully fresh and gulpable, sometimes serious and age-worthy, the prices are always very reasonable.
