From one of the oldest wine estates in the world, Bruno is Karthäuserhof’s nod to tradition—with a twist. Sourced from the steep, slate-rich slopes of the Ruwer Valley, this off-dry Kabinett Feinherb walks that delicate Mosel tightrope between sweetness and acidity with absolute grace.
The 2023 vintage is electric but supple, with green apple, citrus oil, and wild herbs layered over a mineral spine that hums beneath the surface. Feinherb means it’s off-dry, but just barely—there’s a touch of residual sugar, but the acidity keeps everything lifted, mouthwatering, and almost salty on the finish.
Named for Bruno Collet, the estate’s long-standing vineyard manager, this wine is all about joyful complexity. Chill it down, pair it with spicy food, salty cheese, or nothing at all—it’s a wine that asks for little and gives back plenty.
