Nicolas Renaud farms his Gard vineyards organically, focusing on old vines rooted in limestone soils. Calcaires blends Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc from low-yielding parcels.

Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral vessels, it is dry, textured, and mineral-driven. A southern French white that reflects its limestone terroir with clarity.

Nicolas Renaud was a history professor before he went all-in on natural wine in 2006. Now he's 18 hectares deep in the Rhône, farming biodynamically and keeping near-extinct grapes alive (Bourboulenc, Piquepoul Gris). His wines are funky, fresh, and genuinely alive.
