"The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune Vieilles Vignes comes from 45- to 80-year-old vines and was bottled last June. It has a well-defined bouquet of cranberry and wild strawberry fruit with commendable purity. The medium-bodied palate displays pliant tannins, gentle grip and touches of sour cherry and white pepper with quite a persistent finish. What a lovely Savigny-lès-Beaune." —Neal Martin
