100% Pinot Noir, with more body than the blanc Pinot Noir and an alluring, aromatic nose. There is a powerful vinous quality to the wine, á la Savart, with a spicy backbone and a tense core of acidity and a long savory finish. One of the best value's of the Griesel wines and applicable in all settings from late summer BBQ to a NYE celebration bottle. Like all of the Prestige wines, this is a step up in quality with a single grape variety, single vintage, a year in barrel and three years on tirage before disgorgement with no dosage added.
