LOLA was started by Seth Cripe with the idea of making high-quality, honest and value-oriented wines from California. This beautiful, light-bodied Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is inflected with all the saline minerality common to this corner of California, constantly battered by Pacific breezes. Twenty percent is aged in second-use French oak barrels, winemaking that helps to round out the edges of the wine rather than add any oaky flavors. It's mineral-driven with flavors of Meyer lemon, tangerine, seaspray, and fresh herbs, with a crisp and refreshing finish.
