The legendary Edmond Vatan, recently joined by his daughter Anne, tends the Clos La Néore—a parcel within Monts Damnés with thirteen generations of family stewardship dating to 1789. With just 500 cases produced annually, this ranks among Sancerre's rarest bottles. Fermented in 600-liter century-old wooden foudres, late-harvested from low-yielding old vines, the wine delivers crushed limestone, white flowers, citrus zest and flinty minerality.
