Sanzon is a small organic estate in Erdobenye, in the heart of Hungary's Tokaj, where Erika Racz and Gergely Janosi make dry whites from Furmint, the region's signature grape. This is the Rany bottling, sourced from a single vineyard whose terroir gives a Furmint that is deeper and more complex than the everyday cuvee, with real mineral cut. It is the 2022, a serious dry white that still has room to develop. If the Classic is the easy introduction, Rany is the next step up, more concentrated and more expressive of place. A standout from a region most people still associate only with sweet wine.
