Made by Ian Brand (SF Chronicle's 2018 Winemaker of the Year), who founded Le P'tit Paysan in 2008 after working at Bonny Doon. "Paysan" means "peasant" in French. Zabala Vineyard sits on land granted to the Zabala family before California statehood, first planted in the 1970s.
