Volpaia is a medieval fortified village high in the hills of Radda in Chianti, and the Mascheroni Stianti family's winery is woven right into its old stone buildings. The 46 hectares of vineyards climb from 450 to 650 meters, among the highest in Chianti Classico, and all the grapes are certified organic. That altitude shows in the glass: Chianti Classico with lift, elegance and the structure to age gracefully. Continuity really is something you can taste here.
