Domaine Seguinot-Bordet is one of Chablis’ oldest estates, with family roots dating back to the 1590s. Jean-François Bordet farms 20 hectares sustainably around Maligny, near the Serein River, on classic Kimmeridgian limestone soils.

This Chablis is fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve purity and minerality. It represents the domaine’s core style: clean, bright, and firmly rooted in tradition.

Professional Reviews

Burghound

BH 91
"Here there is more evident Chablis typicity to the aromas of Granny Smith apple, lemon confit and plenty of iodine character. In the same fashion, there is slightly more volume and richness to the medium-bodied flavors that are underpinned by both minerality and an attractive tension, all wrapped in a chalky, saline and sneaky long finish. This is also very good for its level and worth checking out." -Allen Meadows

Antonio Galloni

"The 2023 Chablis Village has a pretty nose with apple blossom, grass clippings and light citrus fruit. The palate is well-balanced, with a slightly peppery entry, fine depth, good weight and a cohesive, saline finish. Finally, a Chablis Village worth writing home about! Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis." -Neal Martin

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
