Wild Common is part of the new generation of premium tequilas putting transparency, purity, and craft front and center. Distilled at NOM 1123 (La Cofradía) by the talented Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo, this Reposado starts with estate-grown Blue Weber agave from the Jalisco Highlands, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens and double-distilled without diffusers or additives.

Perfect neat, in a spirit-forward cocktail like a reposado Old Fashioned, or alongside grilled meats, mole, or roasted vegetables.

More about Wild Common

Wild Common is a young brand with a serious distillery behind it. Founder Andy Bardon, a Jackson Hole photographer and former mountain guide, met the Cascahuín team in 2021 while documenting agave sustainability in Jalisco for National Geographic, and he built the brand with them.

Cascahuín (NOM 1123) has made tequila in El Arenal since 1904 and is one of the most respected names in additive-free tequila, with master distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo in charge. The agave is roasted in brick ovens, crushed by tahona and roller mill, fermented in open-air tanks and double-distilled in copper pot stills, with no additives. The range runs from Blanco and Reposado to a 100-proof Still Strength and an Añejo.

Expect bright, earthy, agave-driven tequila: Blanco for margaritas, Reposado for sipping.

Tasting Notes & Food Pairings

Perfect Pairings

Neat, or in a spirit-forward cocktail like a Reposado Old Fashioned. At the table it pairs with grilled meats, mole, carne asada, roasted vegetables and charred corn.

Tasting Profile

Baked agave, roasted pineapple, vanilla bean and cinnamon on the nose. Silky and earthy on the palate, touched with soft oak spice but never veering into caramel territory; the agave stays front and center. Warm, clean and balanced through the finish.
