For over seven decades, Albinea Canali has been a pillar of the Lambrusco category in Reggio Emilia, crafting affordable, skillfully made wines from the region's best-loved varieties. This Metodo Ancestrale Lambrusco di Sorbara follows ancestral protocols: cold maceration of Sorbara grapes for 12 hours to extract color and bright fruit character, then partial fermentation followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. The result is semi-sparkling, bone-dry, and velvety—a natural wine by method, never a product-category exercise. This is Lambrusco as it should taste: vibrant, refreshing, alive.
