Alkoomi started in 1971 when Merv and Judy Lange planted just one hectare in the most isolated wine region of Western Australia—330 kilometers south of Perth. Fast forward and they've assembled 105 hectares at Frankland River, one of Australia's hidden cool-climate jewels. The Lange family legacy continues with the second and third generations running the show, focused on low-impact sustainability and letting the cool continental terroir do the talking. Underrated and worth hunting for.
