The 2005 vintage represents a landmark moment in Bordeaux—warm, dry conditions produced structured, powerful wines with exceptional aging potential. This is the second wine of Château Cantenac Brown, a Third Growth estate on a plateau of deep Garonne gravel in the heart of Margaux. While second wines traditionally draw from younger vines and secondary parcels, in a great vintage like 2005, the quality is exceptional. Margaux's signature elegance, perfume, and silky tannins come through beautifully here. At nearly 20 years, the wine has evolved into a mature, complex expression—secondary flavors of leather, tobacco leaf, and dried red fruit now complement the primary fruit. The magnum format allows for graceful evolution. Drink now through 2035.

Made with the same care as the Grand Vin but from plot selection, it offers pedigree without patience. Enjoy young or age for years.
