Powerful Aglianico from Taurasi DOCG, sourced from vineyards at 600 meters elevation in Venticano. Clelia Romano established the estate in 1994, taking over her family's vineyards after four generations as viticulturists who had previously sold grapes to other producers. Vigna Andrea launched in 2000, following the same qualitative approach as the estate's acclaimed Fiano di Avellino. Calcareous clay soils with marl and sandstone; practicing organic viticulture using only copper and sulfur-based treatments.

"The 2020 Taurasi Andrea takes time to shake off its youthful state, as white smoke and stone dust blow off to reveal black currants and nuances of exotic spice. This races across the palate with sleek red and black fruits enhanced by vibrant acidity. Violet inner florals cascade throughout. The 2020 finishes perfumed and long, quite elegant, leaving sweet tannins to frame the experience without getting in the way of the 2020’s spry character.
