Dalia Maris’s “Piccolo” Bianco blends 80% Friulano and 20% Ribolla Gialla from 60–80-year-old vines in Friuli’s Buttrio zone. Giampaolo Venica vinifies each parcel separately, selecting barrels that don’t make the cut for his top cuvée, “B”.
The wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged in lightly toasted barrels from Tonnellerie Mercurey, the same used by Jean-Louis Chave. A biodynamic white with salty minerality and orchard fruit, it offers a textured, serious take on Friulian terroir.
