This premier cru vineyard entered Bernard-Bonin's portfolio only in 2021, but its hard Comblanchien limestone soils represent exactly the terroir their biodynamic approach was built for. Meursault Les Charmes du Milieu walks the tightrope between richness and freshness: pear, crisp apple, and light florals layered with vanilla and almond, all underpinned by a limestone mineral signature. The wine is textural and elegant, expressive yet precise. This is a 1er cru Burgundy that tastes like place rather than oak, despite the 15-18 months of barrel aging.
