Named for the encounter between Véronique and Nicolas, La Rencontre blends two parcels—Les Pelles and Sous La Velle—with 75-year-old vines that produce Premier Cru intensity at village-level pricing. Ten percent new oak, 18 months aging, and those ancient vines create depth without heaviness. This is Meursault that combines sensuality with power: ripe stone fruit and supple texture meet structural intensity that elevates it well beyond its classification. A wine where elegance and power coexist.
